Professional Information: 

 

Your performance continues to be of good quality as evidenced by my review of your presentation and contributions to the team. Your involvement with your colleagues was a bit difficult at the beginning level of the model which costed you two warning letters. You have performed equally as well in your other academic-related activities and assignments, including your development of innovative workshop methods and aids. Your presentation evaluations remain average yet the possibility of development is at best, however, your attitude, i.e. your short tempered behavior, must improve! We have discussed these concerns and you have indicated that you understand the concerns and will address them.

 

Your performance with respect to your normal academic professional responsibilities appears to be good- overall presentation skill is very good, you are well aware of your surroundings- podium usage, bodily movements are adequate with presenting a session, the material, Q & A, Conclusions ,etc

Your attendance or committee meetings are good. In fact, I believe you were trying to build rapport with your team.

 

At the beginning when you do attend, you appear to be confrontational and obstructive rather than positive and productive, but as i mentioned above i sensed change and I urge you to keep it up! Your colleagues think the same too.

 

I believe your performance in those responsibilities assigned and expected of an academic member are satisfactory. They are certainly not indicative of your normal performance. In summary, and for those reasons as we discussed, it is my judgment that your overall performance based on your evaluations, peer reviews and my observation is average yet a sign of improvement is noted and much appreciated and encouraged.

HR Commentary

Although you have been one of the most challenging staff members for our committee, it is undeniable that your perseverance and determination can help you reach the best of what you can do. You managed to mold your stubbornness positively and using it to achieve your target. You’re self-motivated and ambitions: something that will help you through your life journey.

A Piece of Advice: you have all the motives of a good leader: the charisma, the motivation, and most importantly the vision. However, a good leader is only successful when he works within a group. Try to make your next mission is to “monitor” others. Through developing this skill you’ll be able to learn and teach more. You’ll be a great supervisor one day ,because you have the eye of teacher, but you still don’t have his spirit and tolerance.

Head's Commentary

 

In the year that I have spent with you, I have learned a valuable lesson: with persistence you can reach the top. A very great positive point that you posses. Embrace it and make it your shield that will aid you with life’s challenges. Also I have an advice for you Shehab:No matter how strong you become as a presenter and no matter how much experience you have gained and will gain from life. Never forget that is still not enough. Enough is never enough, when it comes to gaining and learning a new experience from life.  Finally, I ask you to use your power of persistence to make a difference in this world.
